The world is full of magic

Hi everyone

Here I am, hottest day of the year making Christmas cards.......

Just love this sentiment stamp from LOTV conbined with a snowflake it looks fab

here is the card opened out, it is made using a Karen Burniston die called the accordion I have stamped some LOTV images in the panels and a few sentiments.

This is the back, again decorated with LOTV stamps, the paper is frosty Christmas from them too
The stamp is lots of letters from LOTV

The view from above to show how it works

I used spellbinders snowflake dies and the frosty border from memory box

Christmas Magic from Lotv

another angle, this was a very old stamp from the Tatty teddy range

Build a snowman from LOTV

Another angle, I used an XCUT die for the backing on this sentiment

Lots of Letters again by LOTV

Just peeping through you can see carol singing by LOTV

Just loved these papers they fit together so well, and I inked the edges of them and the white card with Tim Holtz weathered wood distress ink

I used James snowman stamp from Lilli of the valley

This is another of their wonderful  Stamps called James Santa stop
The House is included on the die and even allows you to emboss the brickwork

Dies used are from Memory box and spellbinders snowflakes, and the lovely paper is from 1st eddition and is double sided which was just perfect for this project.

So wish me luck, hope you like it and it gives you a few ideas for your christmas projects

Best wishes Maria xxx,

A Purrr...fect thank you card

Hello my fellow card makers

Hope you have been enjoying the lovely weather. Here in sunny Devon it has been baking, I just hope it continues for our hols in August, as we are camping so a little sunshine would be very welcome. Each time we go away our lovely neighbour is so kind and takes care of our cat Sully for us.  As he came from a rescue centre and is very old he hates being in a cattery and her kindness makes life so much better for him as he can stay at home instead of haveing to. She even comes round to talk to him while we are away in case he gets lonely, she is so sweet.  So this year I have desided to get organised and make her a thank you card from him, and this stamp from LOTV seemed to just fit the bill purr...fectley.

A few little touches

A spray of flowers on the top right hand corner

A smaller spray on the bottom left to balance it up

A bow topped with a cat themed brad to finish off the bottom right corner.

the stamp is from Lilli of the valley called a saucer of milk and I coloured it using my spectrum noir pens.

I embossed the back panel with my lovely butterfly folder.
Please let me know what you think.

bye for now
best wishes
Maria
